Jukka-Pekka Annala has a Masters degree in psychology. Annala's area of specialty in psychology is work and organization psychology including personality assessment, recruiting, work atmosphere development, and work as well as career advising.

Annala has coaching experience in the Finnish Elite League, the Finnish Mestis League, and the Junior National Teams of Finland. He also acts as one of the coach instructors for the Finnish Ice Hockey Association. Currently, he is working as the head coach for the U-16 National Team of Finland. 

He is professionally involved in team building, conflict management and group councelling. In addition, Annala also works with management development, strategic planning and management consulting.
